Job summary

Quest Employment in Derby is seeking an Onsite Coordinator to support a key client operation. The role is on site in Derby, with 37.5 hours per week (Tue–Sat, 14:00–22:00) and a pay rate of £14.50 per hour.

The contract is Temp to Perm, starting July 2026, and a driving licence is required. The successful candidate will manage worker check-ins, staffing levels, inductions, and payroll while acting as the main point of contact for both client and workforce to ensure smooth day-to-day staffing

Qualifications

• Strong communication and people skills.
• Confident using Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Well organised with the ability to manage a busy workload.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the main point of contact on site, building strong working relationships with warehouse teams.
• Welcoming and checking in temporary workers at the start of each shift.
• Making sure staffing levels are met and arranging cover where needed.
• Supporting with recruitment, inductions, and onboarding of new starters.
• Monitoring attendance, performance, and general conduct.
• Keeping records up to date and sharing regular updates and reports.
• Handling day-to-day challenges with a practical, solution-focused approach.
• Managing payroll.
