Job summary

Sayjo Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Onsite Recruiter for industrial sector roles, overseeing sites in Barnsley and Hull. This field-based post requires site visits throughout the week with one admin-from-home day and one field day for interviews. Own transport is required.

The candidate will manage onboarding, safety, and compliance, coordinate with client management, and ensure staffing targets are met across multiple sites. Training and progression opportunities are offered.

Responsibilities

• Daily briefing meetings with client management and supervisors.
• Sourcing applicants with the team.
• Liaising with site management to ensure training, safety and compliance.
• Oversee performance results and staffing challenges.
• Conduct fulfilment and performance review meetings.
• Coordinate site inductions for safety and compliance.
• Forecast headcount and plan solutions.
• Screen shortlisted candidates face to face and interview with the team.
• Manage HR basics such as disciplinaries and rotas/holidays.
• Maintain health and safety records.
• Travel to other sites to cover holidays and meetings.

Onsite Recruiter, Industrial Sector Recruitment

A talented recruitment onsite account manager is required to oversee key sites in Barnsley and Hull. This is a field based role, with site visits throughout the week. This role is to ensure fulfilment of staffing requirements, communication and supporting staffing, safety, performance and retention for the site.

Based from either Barnsley or Hull , you will be expected to visit your sites throughout the week and take one of the working days for administration which can be done from home, plus one day in the field to complete candidate interviews. You will need to have your own transport.

About you:

• You will have experience in recruitment onsite or in the industrial sector
• You will be great at communicating and people management
• A resilient and calm person who can handle a challenge and positively lead others
• Confident in managing key accounts and your own diary to maximise success

The role:

• Daily briefing meetings with client's management team and supervisors
• Sourcing applicants alongside the team
• Liaising with management of site to ensure training, safety and compliance
• Oversee performance results, challenges of staffing
• Fulfilment and performance review meetings
• Assessing and inductions of site, safety and compliance
• Forecasting and planning headcount and solutions
• Screening shortlisted candidates face to face and interviewing alongside the team
• Manage basic HR such as disciplinaries
• Manage rotas and holidays.
• Health and safety records
• Driving to other sites in the area to cover fellow account managers holidays and critical meetings or incidents.

• £28,000 per annum basic
• £1,000 per annum on call payment
