Job summary

Impact Futures in Willenhall is seeking an Apprentice Pharmacy Assistant to support daily pharmacy operations while completing your apprenticeship training. You will work under supervision of registered professionals and gain hands-on experience in dispensing, stock control and customer service.

You will participate in the Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship, complete coursework, and learn SOP-compliant dispensing and NHS claim processes.

Qualifications

• Participation in Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship programme.
• Must be enrolled onto an approved apprenticeship and meet eligibility checks.
• Strong communication, numeracy and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in dispensing and processing NHS and private prescriptions.
• Support stock management and inventory control.
• Provide customer service and health advice to customers.
• Prepare Monitored Dosage Systems (MDS) and support services.
• Operate till and handle cash with accuracy.
• Complete apprenticeship coursework and training modules.
