Job summary

Impact Futures is seeking an Apprentice Pharmacy Assistant to support daily pharmacy operations while undertaking the Pharmacy Services Assistant apprenticeship.

You will work under registered pharmacy professionals, assisting with dispensing, stock management, NHS prescriptions, and customer service to ensure safe and efficient care. The role is full-time, on-site in Northampton, with training provided through the apprenticeship framework.

Responsibilities

• Support daily pharmacy operations while completing apprenticeship.
• Assist in dispensing, stock management and NHS prescriptions.
• Deliver high standards of customer service and advise on OTC products.
• Prepare Monitored Dosage Systems (MDS) and support care homes and other settings.
• Maintain stock levels and expiry date management; ensure SOP compliance.
