Job summary

Health Partners is seeking an Occupational Health Nurse to deliver comprehensive OH services onsite at Warton, Preston. You will manage health surveillance, pre-employment assessments, fitness-for-work evaluations, and on-site health promotion.

The role requires NMC registration, an adult nursing qualification, and a valid driving licence, with strong IT and communication skills to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse or adult nursing qualification with a valid driving licence.
• Strong IT and administrative skills with ability to interpret health data.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Presentation skills desirable for health promotion activities and meetings.
• Able to work both in a team and independently with good timekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Provide full OH/Treatment service in line with the client contract and HP protocols.
• Provide health surveillance in line with legislation and HP guidelines.
• Assess employees presenting to Occupational Health; offer clinical advice and treatment.
• Conduct face-to-face and telephone consultations; advise management.
• Assess fitness to work and issue fitness certificates as appropriate.
• Provide clinical support to first aid on site and assist in on-site health promotion.
• Maintain records per departmental protocols and ensure compliance with NMC guidelines.
