Accenture is seeking a Network Operations Engineer for an on-site role in Portsmouth. The specialist will support LAN/WAN, wireless networks and related infrastructure, ensuring stability and service delivery for national and international clients.

The role requires BPSS/SC security clearance and British nationality, with flexibility to travel and work onsite as needed. The team emphasizes SLA-driven performance and proactive problem solving within a diverse, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• BPSS and SC security clearance required; 5 years continuous UK address history at application (British national only).
• Experience in information security focusing on networking.
• Cisco switching and wireless; Cisco ASA firewalls and ISE.
• Cisco CCNP or CCNA across Network technologies/areas.
• Proven incident management, service requests and problem solving.
• Experience using ticketing systems and monitoring/management tools.
• Ability to communicate effectively and build client relationships.
• Ability to meet deadlines and SLA targets.
• Ability to take ownership of issues to completion.

Responsabilités

• Plan and execute in-depth technical activity.
• Influence activity direction and provide technical guidance to others.
• Investigate and resolve issues on customer networks and IT environment.
• Manage network support cases to ensure fast resolution exceeding customer expectations.
• Record all cases accurately using the ticketing tool and close within SLAs.
• Share knowledge via the central repository and team communications.
• Support and lead ad-hoc projects to enhance the Service Centre capabilities.
• Participate in knowledge sharing and team meetings; on-call and shift rota; onsite delivery.
