Job summary

LanceSoft UK in Drax (North Yorkshire) is seeking an Entry Professional to support logistics documentation services on a two-year contract. You will prepare documents for logistics service delivery, coordinate receipt, unloading, handling, storage and traceability of goods, and work with SCM, Transport and site teams to align delivery schedules and storage conditions.

The role requires a high school diploma or technical qualification, experience in transport logistics or warehouse operations,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical qualification.
• Experience in transport logistics, warehouse operations and/or material handling.
• HSE training and certifications desirable.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Structured, diligent and collaborative working style.
• Ideal candidate has construction site and renewable energy sector experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide logistics documentation services.
• Prepare documents for logistics service within established processes and requirements.
• Coordinate receipt, unloading, handling, storage and traceability of goods.
• Collaborate with SCM, Transport and Logistics teams, subcontractors and site personnel to align materials, delivery schedules and storage conditions.
• Monitor deliveries, purchase-order status and delivery dates; communicate potential impacts on site activities.
• Coordinate personnel, unloading areas and lifting equipment for incoming deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental requirements during material receipt, unloading, handling and storage.
• Record and report material deliveries and keep shipping documents and records complete and archived.
