Air Apps is seeking a DevOps Engineer Backend to design, automate, and maintain the infrastructure powering our backend systems. You will collaborate closely with developers to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable deployments across cloud environments.

Based in Lisbon, this role involves hands-on work with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring tools to drive performance and cost optimization. Relocation support is available for the right candidate, and a dynamic, fast-paced team awaits.

Formación

• 3+ years in DevOps/SRE/Cloud Engineering.
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP.
• IaC tooling such as Terraform/CloudFormation/Pulumi.
• Docker and Kubernetes experience.
• Strong Linux, networking and security knowledge.
• Bash/Python/Go scripting.
• Monitoring/logging with Prometheus, Grafana or ELK/Datadog.
• Understanding cloud cost optimization and high availability.
• Agile, fast-paced environment experience.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Implement IaC using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
• Deploy and manage containerized apps with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor performance and improve reliability.
• Enforce security best practices including IAM, logging and vulnerability management.
• Collaborate with developers to improve deployment efficiency.
• Optimize cloud resource usage for cost-effectiveness.
• Automate provisioning, configuration and maintenance.
• Stay updated with emerging DevOps tools and practices.
