Job summary

Air Apps is seeking a DevOps Engineer Backend to design, automate, and maintain the infrastructure powering our backend systems. You will collaborate with developers to deploy scalable and reliable services in a fast-paced, onsite setting in Lisbon.

Responsibilities include building CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud resources, implementing IaC, and ensuring security and cost-efficiency across environments. You will engage with cross-functional teams and stay current with DevOps best practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud engineering.
• Strong CI/CD tool experience.
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP and serverless computing.
• Proficiency with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
• Hands-on Docker and Kubernetes experience (incl. Helm).
• Linux, networking, and security fundamentals.
• Scripting in Bash, Python, or Go for automation.
• Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
• Knowledge of cloud cost optimization and high-availability architectures.
• Ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment.
