Job summary

Bicycle Therapeutics is seeking an experienced IT Systems Analyst to join our UK team at Granta Park near Cambridge. You will ensure reliability, security, and efficiency of our IT infrastructure, supporting research and operations across the UK and US.

You will manage Windows/Linux servers, perform admin tasks, and contribute to security tooling and disaster recovery planning, enabling our scientific teams to work securely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Expertise in IT systems administration including Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure AD/Entra ID (SSO).
• Some experience with Linux/Unix systems and PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with help desk / ticket systems and documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Frontline & Escalation Support: act as primary IT support contact for UK colleagues and provide remote support globally, ensuring timely resolution and escalation.
• User & Systems Administration: manage onboarding/offboarding, hardware/software setup, and administer core server environments (Windows/Linux) and Hyper-V virtualization.
• Security & Operational Excellence: advance cybersecurity posture using security tools, support DR drills, and document systems/processes for a robust knowledge base.
• Continuous Improvement & Project Delivery: identify upgrade opportunities and lead IT projects from scoping to delivery within time and budget.
