IT Analyst
Location: Haverhill
Salary: £40,000 per annum

Hours: 9:00am – 5:30pm, 36 hours per week

PureKat Consultancy is recruiting for an experienced IT Analyst to join the IT team at a busy manufacturing site in Haverhill.
Your duties as the IT Analyst will include:
- Administering and maintaining server
- Managing backups
- Supporting Microsoft 365, Active Directory
- Managing application configuration
- Troubleshooting application issues
- Managing incidents, service requests, problems and changes in line with ITIL principles.
- Maintaining SLA performance
- Maintaining accurate IT asset and configuration records.
- Ensuring incidents and changes are fully documented and appropriately managed.
- Providing a professional and customer-focused IT support service across the site.
- Supporting validated and regulated computer systems throughout their lifecycle.
- Participating in user requirements gathering, risk assessments, validation planning and test execution.
- Maintaining documentation
- Supporting internal and external audits and regulatory inspections
- Ensuring data integrity, system security and compliance requirements are maintained
- Participating in infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, cybersecurity initiatives and application deployments
- Assisting with IT budgeting, procurement, licensing and contract renewals.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline
- Proven experience in IT infrastructure and application support
- Strong experience with Microsoft Windows Server administration
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft 365 and Entra ID
- Experience with VMware and/or Hyper-V virtualisation
- Good knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs and firewall technologies
- Experience with backup, storage and endpoint management solutions
- Experience working within a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device or similarly regulated environment would be highly desirable
- An understanding of GxP, GMP, GAMP 5, Annex 11 and 21 CFR Part 11 would be advantageous
- Strong understanding of IT service management and ITIL principles
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
- A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
