Job summary

PureKat Consultancy is seeking an IT Analyst to join the team at a busy manufacturing site in Haverhill. The role encompasses server administration, backups, and support for Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and IT systems across the site.

The successful candidate will bring a strong background in IT infrastructure, Windows Server, AD/GP, and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), with experience in regulated environments (GxP) being a plus. Expect 36-hour weeks and an on-site presence in Haverhill.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in IT infrastructure and application support.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Windows Server administration.
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.

Responsibilities

• Participating in infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, cybersecurity initiatives and application deployments
• Assisting with IT budgeting, procurement, licensing and contract renewals.

IT Analyst

Location: Haverhill

Salary: £40,000 per annum

Job Type: Full-time

Hours: 9:00am – 5:30pm, 36 hours per week

Your duties as the IT Analyst will include:

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline
• Proven experience in IT infrastructure and application support
• Strong experience with Microsoft Windows Server administration
• Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft 365 and Entra ID
• Experience with VMware and/or Hyper-V virtualisation
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs and firewall technologies
• Experience with backup, storage and endpoint management solutions
• Experience working within a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device or similarly regulated environment would be highly desirable
• An understanding of GxP, GMP, GAMP 5, Annex 11 and 21 CFR Part 11 would be advantageous
• Strong understanding of IT service management and ITIL principles
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
• A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
