Job summary

The HBP Group is seeking an IT Service Lead Engineer to act as the senior technical authority and onsite contact for a key customer. You will own the security, stability, and continual improvement of the customer’s IT environment, with board level interaction and cross-site leadership across the UK and Europe.

You will balance technical excellence with leadership, accountability, and commercial awareness, while partnering with internal teams to ensure secure, compliant, and predictable delivery.

Qualifications

• Senior engineer with accountability and leadership responsibility.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders and strategy.
• Strong focus on security, stability, and long-term scalability.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary onsite technical lead across UK and European sites.
• Lead delivery of customer initiatives including new sites and infrastructure upgrades.
• Own SLA performance and act as escalation point for critical issues.
• Maintain high-quality documentation and risk assessments for projects.
• Coach and guide onsite users and drive continuous improvement.
