Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking a practical, customer-focused IT Installation and Delivery Engineer to join our onsite team. The role involves delivering, installing and collecting IT equipment at customer sites across the UK with travel and overnight stays.

You will work on PC/LCD setups, cabling, and coordinating with customers to ensure smooth office moves and projects. Candidates should be reliable, flexible, and able to communicate effectively.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT installations, technical support, or workshop environments desirable.
• Knowledge of IT hardware, cable management, and MPS configuration essential.

Responsibilities

• Installation to desk at customer sites.
• Communicate with customers about installed hardware.
• Decommissioning of redundant equipment and furniture.
• Dispose of customer items following safety procedures.
• Cable management and fault finding on hardware.
• PC/Laptop builds; hardware and software as needed.
• Travel to customer sites across the UK and internationally, with overnight stays.
• Provide daily updates on projects and act as on-site point of contact.
