Job summary

GreenSafe IT is seeking a practical IT Installation & Delivery Engineer to join our onsite team. The role focuses on delivering, installing and collecting IT equipment at customer sites across the UK, with frequent travel and driving company vehicles.

You will set up PCs, monitors and peripherals, manage office moves, and collect redundant IT equipment. The ideal candidate is reliable, adaptable, customer-focused and a team player prepared to represent the company professionally on site.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT installations, technical support, or workshop environments.
• Knowledge of IT hardware and cable management.
• Ability to travel to customer sites across the UK and internationally.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to lift and move IT assets with provided equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install IT equipment at desks for customers.
• Communicate with customers about installed hardware.
• Decommission redundant equipment and furniture.
• Dispose of customer items per safety procedures.
• Manage cables and perform fault finding on hardware.
• Build PCs/Laptops with hardware and software.
• Travel to UK sites and occasional international assignments.
• Provide daily updates on projects and progress.
• Act as on-site point of contact with customers.
