Job summary

TipTopJob is recruiting for an Installation and Commissioning Engineer to join a Derby-based team delivering end-to-end control system solutions for transportation, airport and power infrastructure sectors. The role covers UK-wide site work, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality and customer liaison.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in installation and commissioning engineering.
• HND level or above in electrical or control engineering.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to obtain security clearance.
• Right to work in Europe (EDU/EEA/Swiss passport).

Responsibilities

• Check installation to standard before testing.
• Perform system testing per the Installation and Commissioning Test document.
• Input PLC data and verify operation with plant and field devices.
• Set up field devices.
• Carry out site acceptance tests and fault finding.
• Produce RAMs, test documents, progress reports.
• Attend site progress meetings and client-facing tests.
