Job summary

Ainscough Crane Hire is hiring for a Customer Service/Support role at Standish, Wigan. You will be the first point of contact for customer enquiries, build strong relationships with clients, and guide them toward the right lifting solutions.

You will prepare quotations, manage inquiries through to order, and collaborate with Sales, Operations, Finance and depots to ensure a seamless customer journey. Strong written/verbal communication and CRM proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, contact centre, customer support or sales support environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Confidence building relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive approach, taking ownership of customer enquiries from start to finish.
• Proven ability to meet SLAs and high customer service standards.
• Good IT skills, CRM systems and Microsoft Office experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for customer enquiries.
• Build relationships with new and existing customers, guiding them to the right lifting solution.
• Prepare quotations, manage enquiries and own the customer journey through to order.
• Coordinate with Sales, Commercial, Operations, Finance and depots to deliver a seamless experience.
• Manage enquiries in line with SLAs and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate customer records and opportunities in CRM.
• Look for opportunities to improve the customer experience and ease of doing business with Ainscough.
