Job summary
Air Apps is seeking a DevOps Engineer Backend to design, automate, and maintain the infrastructure powering our backend systems. You will work closely with developers to build scalable, reliable deployment pipelines and manage cloud resources across AWS/Azure/GCP.
Based in Lisbon, this fully onsite role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive performance, security, and cost efficiency. You will implement IaC, container orchestration, and monitoring to support rapid feature
Qualifications
- 3+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering
- Proficient with AWS/Azure/GCP
- Experience with IaC and container orchestration
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and deployment
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi
- Deploy and manage containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes
- Monitor system performance and improve reliability
- Enforce security best practices including identity management and logging
- Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment efficiency
- Optimize cloud resource utilization for cost-effectiveness
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and maintenance
- Stay updated with emerging DevOps technologies and practices
