Job summary

Morson Edge currently has an opportunity for a Material Co-ordinator to support a aerospace client in Yeovil on an ongoing contract. The role focuses on delivering materials to the aircraft build facility, engaging with stakeholders and ensuring adherence to budgets and milestones.

The position requires strong data analysis, problem solving, and communication skills, with close collaboration across Procurement, Logistics, Programmes and Manufacturing Engineering to optimise material flow and

Qualifications

• Relevant technical proficiency and experience, either through technical qualification/ training or experience.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of material problems to ensure customer satisfaction and business improvement.
• Work closely with Production Logistic Controllers and Aircraft Managers to ensure on-time material delivery.
• Forge relationships with Procurement, Logistics, Programmes, Manufacturing Engineering and MRP to prioritise material flow.
• Be self-sufficient in analysing material data and escalating key issues as needed.
• Attend material review meetings and provide status reports to support decisions.
• Support team members to maintain overall effectiveness.
• Maintain health and safety and assist the company in meeting statutory obligations.
