Job summary

Yolk Recruitment Ltd. is sourcing a Material Support Specialist for a 12-month contract at Brize Norton. The role is fully onsite and BPSS clearance is required, with SC clearance under consideration.

You will manage material demands across a complex operation, coordinate with planning and suppliers, and help maintain readiness for flying programmes. Applicants should have strong SAP experience, excel in reporting, and be adept at building stakeholder relationships in a regulated aerospace

Qualifications

Previous experience within a Material Support, Supply Chain, Procurement or Materials Management environment.
Strong SAP experience, including material management and reporting activities.
Experience managing and escalating material demands, shortages and delivery issues.
Ability to build strong customer and stakeholder relationships.
Experience attending operational planning and review meetings.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and mitigate supply chain risks.
Experience producing reports and analysing supply chain performance data.
Knowledge of engineering, manufacturing or aerospace environments would be advantageous.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and related business systems.

Responsibilities

Monitor material requirements and manage supplier performance.
Attend daily planning meetings and resolve issues impacting delivery schedules.
Coordinate material availability to meet maintenance and flying programme requirements.
Escalate critical supply issues and identify mitigating solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Build strong customer relationships and communicate risk and status clearly.
