Job summary

EDF Power Solutions is seeking a Prepare for Operations Manager to help optimise our onshore wind portfolio, focusing on performance, safety and readiness for investment decisions.

You will bridge Asset Management, Operations, Development and Construction to ensure seamless transitions, lead commercial negotiations, and guide readiness processes across projects in the UK.

This hybrid role involves travel to sites in the UK and abroad and requires strong PM, risk, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in onshore wind with asset management and readiness.
• Ability to evaluate risks and propose mitigation measures.
• Strong project management and organisational skills.
• Commercial and contractual negotiation experience.
• Ability to review technical proposals, designs and drawings.
• UK driving licence and willingness to travel domestically/internationally.

Responsibilities

• Be an influential member of the Onshore Wind Asset Ops Leadership Team reporting to the Head of Onshore Asset Ops.
• Bridge between Asset Management/Operations and Development, Construction & Strategy teams for the End to End Business unit.
• Ensure Operations Strategies are in place for the pipeline of projects ahead of investment decisions.
• Facilitate seamless transitions from Development & Construction to Operations.
• Lead readiness planning to operate and manage project risks.
• Lead contractual and commercial negotiations with clients and suppliers.
• Define and lead virtual cross-functional teams to deliver projects and processes.
• Monitor readiness processes and embed lessons learned into future project design.
