EDF Power Solutions invites you to join as Prepare for Operations Manager, shaping performance, safety and optimisation across our onshore wind portfolio. You’ll bridge Asset Management, Operations, Development, Construction and Strategy to drive readiness, risk management and value across projects.

This hybrid role spans the UK with occasional site visits, requiring strong leadership, contractual acumen and a proactive approach to delivering operational excellence throughout the asset lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Background in onshore wind asset management with O&M experience.
• Ability to evaluate risk and implement mitigation measures.
• Strong project management and organisational skills.
• Commercial and contractual experience for negotiation and terms.
• Ability to review technical proposals and operational documentation.
• UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Be an influential member of the Onshore Wind Asset Ops Leadership Team reporting to Head of Onshore Asset Ops.
• Bridge between Asset Management/Operations and Development, Construction & Strategy teams.
• Ensure Operations Strategies are in place for pipeline projects ahead of investment decisions.
• Oversee transitions from Development & Construction into Operations.
• Lead readiness to operate and control project risks with dedicated teams.
• Lead contractual and commercial negotiations with clients and suppliers.
• Define and lead virtual cross-functional teams to deliver projects and processes.
• Monitor readiness processes at portfolio and project levels; embed lessons.
• Review and assess technical proposals, designs, calculations, drawings and docs.
• Model positive leadership and uphold safety, environment and compliance.
