Job summary

Taylor Hopkinson | Powered by Brunel is seeking an Onshore Substation Site Manager for a major HV substation project in the UK. You will act as the onsite Client Representative, ensure CDM compliance, coordinate site establishment, construction and handover activities.

You will manage interfaces with National Grid and contractors, prepare reports and risk assessments, and support the HVDC package through construction.

Qualifications

• Site Manager experience on HV substation projects.
• Strong civil engineering background with installation know-how.
• Business proficient in English and UK site delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as onsite Client Representative during site establishment and construction.
• Ensure CDM compliance and rigorous safety standards on site.
• Coordinate interfaces between National Grid, contractors and project teams.
• Prepare progress, risk and decision reports for project leadership.
• Deliver safe onshore HV transmission system and handover documentation.
