Job summary

Siemens Energy Limited is seeking a Project Environmental Health and Safety Advisor for onshore work across UK projects, with a roaming role to support teams during complex and high-risk phases.

The role requires NEBOSH certification, ISO45001/ISO14001 knowledge, and CDM experience, plus a full driving license; hybrid working in Manchester is available. You will advise on EHS, update risk evaluations, and deliver monthly safety reports.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Certificate; Diploma or equivalent in Health & Safety Management.
• Diploma or equivalent in Environmental Management is desirable.
• Detailed knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation for large construction projects (onshore & offshore).
• Experience in inspections and working with standards (ISO45001, ISO14001).
• Experience in developing EHS arrangements for Principal Contractors under CDM regulations.
• Desirable: CDM Awareness, HSG47 awareness, CCNSG Passport, Accident investigation, Safety by Design, IOSH Membership.
• Full driving license is required.

Responsibilities

• Integrate EHS requirements into bid documents and contracts.
• Assist the Project Manager in updating EHS risk evaluations and handover to execution Project Manager.
• Participate in site inspections and draft Construction Phase Plan and related plans.
• Finalize Construction Phase Plan and ensure client/SE EHS compliance.
• Ensure compliance with national and international dangerous goods regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits, supporting site EHS activities.
• Coordinate and deliver EHS campaigns and compile monthly project reports.
