Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Project Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Advisor to support project teams with competent EHS guidance across all phases, including a roaming role to cover complex and high-risk stages and staff leave.

The role involves coordinating EHS requirements in bids, updating risk assessments, drafting Construction Phase Plans, and ensuring compliance with national and international regulations. Offshore training and CDM experience are valuable assets.

Qualifications

NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent; Health & Safety Diploma preferred.
Desirable Environmental Management qualification.
Strong knowledge of HSE legislation for large construction projects, including offshore and onshore.
Experience with inspections and standards (ISO45001, ISO14001).
Offshore safety training (BOSIET, Offshore Medical, MIST, Descender Training, GWO) and EHS arrangements for Principal Contractors under CDM.
Other relevant certifications such as HSG47, IOSH Membership may be beneficial.

Responsibilities

Support integration of EHS requirements in bid documents and contracts.
Assist Project Manager in updating EHS risk evaluation and handover to execution team.
Participate in site inspections and draft Construction Phase Plan and Local Emergency Response Plan.
Update and finalize Construction Phase Plan and ensure client/SE EHS system compliance.
Ensure compliance with dangerous goods regulations for all activities.
Conduct inspections/audits and support site management in EHS activities.
Coordinate and deliver EHS campaigns on site and compile monthly reports.
