Job summary

Asda House in Leeds is seeking an Online Trading Manager to set the online commercial strategy for General Merchandise categories, driving sales and profit and overseeing the product onboarding process and online journey. Leading the team to ensure we deliver an easy, fast and friendly online customer experience on site.

Working in partnership with strategic, digital and trading teams to define and execute the online strategy for General Merchandise.

Qualifications

Buying, merchandising or eComm experience preferred but not essential.
Analytical and data driven, skilled in using data to make informed decisions and optimise results.
Be a strong communicator with great personal skills to work with people at all levels – not just in our business, but also beyond it
Thrives in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to manage change and drive results.
You will be agile and an effective decision maker, willing to move, fail and learn fast

Responsibilities

Set the Online commercial strategy for George Soft Home categories, driving online sales and profit.
Lead the team to deliver the online journey, onboarding products and category merchandising.
Partner with strategic, digital and trading teams to define and execute the online strategy for General Merchandise.
Ensure easy, fast and friendly online customer experience on site.
Oversee visual merchandising and taxonomy to maximise conversion and customer satisfaction.
