Job summary

King's College London is seeking a Student Engagement Advisor to support the curation and delivery of events and community-building activities for online distance learners. You will work with multiple departments to ensure a welcoming and inclusive experience from welcome to graduation.

The role is full-time (35 hours per week) on a fixed-term contract until 27 September. The ideal candidate is organised, responsive, and able to communicate clearly with diverse student communities.

Qualifications

• Qualification or experience in events organisation, communication, marketing or customer service.
• Strong working knowledge of MS tools such as Outlook, Excel, Word.
• Able to respond to questions where the answer is not immediately clear.
• Highly driven and organised with the ability to manage proactive and reactive workloads.
• High attention to detail when using digital systems and communicating with diverse audiences.
• Effective communicator able to build relationships with a diverse student body.

Responsibilities

• Support the curation and delivery of events, community-building, and engagement initiatives.
• Collaborate with other departments and faculties to enhance the student experience.
• Support online distance learners and foster a sense of belonging and connection.
• Assist from welcome to graduation with programme delivery and communications.
