Job summary

The Myton Hospices in Rugby is seeking an Online Sales Manager to grow our online sales of donated goods through digital marketplaces. The role is a 12-month fixed-term contract, based on-site at Rugby Central shop, with some travel across Coventry and Warwickshire.

You will develop a sales plan, maximise the value of donated stock through online merchandising, and expand presence on relevant marketplaces, targeting vintage, luxury fashion, collectables and specialist venues.

At The Myton Hospices, we provide specialist care and support for people with life-limiting illnesses, and their loved ones, from the point of diagnosis to end of life. We are a much-loved and well supported charity, at the heart of our community. We have three hospices, a range of community services, and 26 charity shops in Coventry and Warwickshire.

About the role

Join our welcoming team as our Online Sales Manager, growing our online sales of donated goods through digital marketplaces. You'll be developing our online sales operation to deliver sustainable income growth.

This position will be for 12 months, based on site in our Rugby Central shop, with some travel to other sites across Coventry and Warwickshire.

As our Online Sales Manager, you'll be:

• Developing and implementing a sales plan
• Maximising the value of donated goods through effective online merchandising
• Expanding our presence across relevant online marketplaces
• Targeting vintage, luxury fashion, collectables, and specialist marketplaces
• Delivering an excellent customer experience
• Working with our charity shop teams to maximise the supply of suitable stock

This role is vital to our work, because you'll be delivering income that funds care and support for people with life-limiting illnesses and their families.

About you

We are seeking an Online Sales Manager with:

• Experience of working in a retail environment, selling products through online marketplaces, and providing customer service
• Skills in team leadership, communication, and organisation
• Commercial mindset and an analytical approach to improving performance
• The right to work in the UK (we cannot provide sponsorship)

Other roles you may have experience of could include: Ecommerce Manager; E-Commerce Manager; Digital Marketing; Online Merchandising; Retail Manager; Store Manager.

This role requires an enhanced DBS check including the children's barred list because you will be managing some volunteers under the age of 16. We'll arrange and cover the cost of this check if you're offered the role.
