Enterprise Mobility is offering a paid one-year Management Placement Internship based in Whitehaven. You’ll gain hands-on experience across customer service, sales, marketing, finance, and operations within a supportive, award-winning training environment.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: handle reservations, enquiries, and build rapport with customers.
• Sales and Marketing: connect with local business partners, grow your network and relationships.
• Financial Control and Profitability: understand cost control and interpret profit and loss statements.
• Operations and Logistics: learn fleet management, planning, and performance driving.
• Leadership and Development: mentor and train others, with potential to manage and promote.

Responsibilities

You’ll have the chance to apply what you already know, while building a powerful set of hard and soft skills that you might not have expected. You’ll develop skills in:

Customer Service: deliver exceptional experiences by confidently handling reservations, resolving enquiries, and building rapport with a diverse range of customers.

Financial Control and Profitability: understand the financial mechanics of a successful business, including cost control and interpreting profit and loss statements.

Operations and Logistics: learn how to manage a fleet, plan strategically, and drive performance.

Leadership and Development: take the lead in mentoring, training, and developing your own team - with the opportunity to manage and promote others as you grow.

Qualifications

• We accept applications for our Management Placement and Internship Programme from all undergraduate university students regardless of university attended and subjects being studied. Our assessment is based on how you perform against our competencies and will judge you on that alone.
• You must have a full manual UK or EU driving licence, but we do make accommodations for applicants who don’t drive due to a disability.
