Job summary

Outwood Grange Academies Trust in England is seeking a Graduate One-to-One Tutor to deliver intervention programmes to individuals, working with department staff to prepare learning experiences and resources.

You will report on pupil progress, liaise with the Head of Department and teachers, support exam revision sessions and comply with safeguarding procedures. The role offers staff development and flexible benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate in related subject or AS/A2 level or be a qualified teacher.
• Excellent communication and listening skills, alongside strong time management and organisational skills.
• Essential abilities include supporting students with science work up to GCSE level and knowledge of standard computer packages.
• Experience of working in a school environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver intervention programmes to individuals, working with department staff to prepare and implement appropriate learning experiences.
• Develop suitable intervention material, lesson plans and resources.
• Report on individual pupil progress and liaise with the Head of Department and teachers to provide feedback.
• Support exam revision sessions and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed.
