Job summary

Outwood Academy Freeston seeks a dedicated One to One Tutor on a part-time, term-time basis. The role focuses on targeted support for students in small groups or 1-1, across English, to raise attainment.

You will plan and deliver a differentiated curriculum, contribute to intervention programmes, and work with the Head of Department to sustain high standards. Start ASAP; temporary until May 2027; 5 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and excellent IT skills.
• Exceptionally well organised with the ability to prioritise deadlines.
• Ability to work on one’s own initiative as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Work across the English curriculum to support students with varying needs in small groups (2-4) or in 1-2-1 settings.
• Plan, implement and deliver a broad, balanced, and differentiated curriculum for individual students.
• Deliver intervention programmes, encourage academic growth and promote the inclusive ethos of the Academy.

Salary (Actual Salary): Salary (Actual Salary): QTS £37.03 per hour
Relevant Degree £26.68 per hour
Unqualified £18.72 per hour

Working Pattern: 5 Hours Per Week, Term Time only
