ISP School Battle is seeking a dedicated One-to-One Teaching Assistant to support progress and engagement for a pupil at our Battle, East Sussex campus. The role is 22.5 hours per week across three days, fixed-term contract, term-time only, starting ASAP.

You will mentor a pupil (or small group up to five), assist the class teacher, monitor progress, contribute to lesson planning, supervise outside classroom times and help with trips, with DBS clearance funded by the school.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths (C or equivalent) required.
• Experience as Teaching Assistant preferred.
• Ability to lead on a specialist area (e.g., reading, maths).

Responsabilités

• Mentor and support one pupil or a small group (up to 5).
• Support the classroom teacher during lessons.
• Report progress and concerns to ensure pupils' needs are met.
• Supervise pupils during non-classroom time, including trips and activities.
• Assist with lesson planning and preparation, set work and marking.
• Build positive relationships to drive engagement and learning outcomes.
