Job summary

Teach South in Worthing is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant on a full-time contract to support pupils facing barriers to learning, delivering one-to-one and small-group help to those disengaged from lessons.

You will build trusting relationships, boost confidence and encourage positive attitudes toward education, working closely with teachers to help every child progress and reach their potential in a nurturing school environment.

Qualifications

• Patience, resilience and empathy when supporting pupils.
• Excellent communication with students, teachers and carers.
• Ability to form positive bonds with young people.
• Experience working with children or in education is desirable.
