St Augustine's CE Primary School in Manchester is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 2 to support a child with SEND. The role involves one-to-one support, collaboration with teachers, and reinforcing learning activities to promote progress.

The position is part-time, term-time with INSET days, offering an inclusive school community and opportunities for professional development within Vantage Academy Trust.

Formación

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar support role.
• Experience of working with children with SEN.
• Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions (e.g. autism, ADHD, dyslexia, speech & language difficulties).
• Ability to reinforce lesson material, adapt resources and assist with tasks to support learning progress.
• Patience, empathy, resilience and a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment.
• Excellent behaviour management skills with the ability to work as part of a team.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Calm and resilient approach.

Responsabilidades

• Support children with SEND inside and outside the classroom.
• Work closely with class teachers to support the child and engage in activities.
• Encourage the child to engage with various activities to help them learn and achieve success.
