Job summary

The Bramble Academy in Mansfield Woodhouse is seeking a Learning Assistant on a fixed-term basis until July 2027 to provide one-to-one support for pupils with SEND, helping them access learning and build independence.

You'll work with class teachers and the inclusion team to adapt activities, promote engagement, and support social and emotional development in a nurturing, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND is beneficial.
• Patience, care and a commitment to making a difference are essential.
• Willingness to learn and a passion for helping children.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support for pupils with SEND to access learning and develop independence.
• Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs and promote engagement in lessons.
• Support social and emotional development and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with class teachers, the inclusion team and other professionals to tailor support.
