Job summary

Langley Park Primary School (Impact Multi Academy Trust) in London is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support a pupil with complex needs on a one-to-one basis, enabling progress toward EHCP targets.

You will work under teaching staff, implement work programmes, assist in planning and resource preparation, and provide cover for short periods. The role focuses on developing social and emotional skills and daily living abilities within KS1/KS2 learning contexts.

Qualifications

• Experience providing one-to-one support to a pupil with complex needs.
• Ability to take initiative, promote independent learning and work in a team.
• Knowledge of the KS1/KS2 curriculum and standards.
• High expectations for pupil learning and behaviour.
• Able to manage time effectively and balance priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support a pupil with complex needs on a one-to-one basis.
