Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking an experienced Early Years SEN Tutor to provide one-to-one support to young children across Manchester, using a child-centred, play-based approach to develop communication, language and early learning skills. Role flexibility includes delivering sessions in the child's home, community settings or early years settings, with hours adapting to each referral and EHCP outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have EYFS knowledge, SEND/SEN experience, Level 3 EY qualification or

Qualifications

• Essential: Early Years experience (2–5), SEND/SEN experience, EYFS knowledge.
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Experience delivering play-based, one-to-one support in diverse settings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, one-to-one Early Years SEN tuition and developmental support.
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate, play-based learning activities.
• Support children's development across communication, language, literacy and social skills.
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual SEND profiles.
• Support EHCP outcomes and school readiness, including routines and independence.
• Build positive relationships with children and families and work with other professionals.
