Job summary

Prospero Teaching in Bolton is seeking a devoted tutor to support vulnerable, disengaged young people. You will create, plan and deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to bridge gaps in KS3 or KS4 education and boost engagement and attainment, with sessions at the pupils' home or within the community.

This part-time, contract role starts ASAP and offers flexible hours. Ideal candidates have QTS or tutoring experience and a patient, creative approach, with experience supporting SEND or disengaged pupils.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent or tutoring experience.
• Possess UK classroom teaching experience preferred but not essential
• Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
• Have experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils.

Responsibilities

• Create, plan and deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to bridge gaps in KS3/KS4 education and boost engagement.
• Deliver tutoring in one-on-one or small-group settings for vulnerable and disengaged pupils.
