Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated tutor in Manchester to support vulnerable, disengaged, and at-risk students. You will plan and deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to bridge gaps in KS3/KS4 and boost engagement and attainment.

The role involves in-person work at homes or community venues, with flexible hours to suit families. Ideal candidates have QTS or tutoring experience, UK classroom exposure, and experience with SEND.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent or tutoring experience.
• UK classroom teaching experience preferred but not essential.
• Experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to bridge gaps in KS3/KS4 pupil education.
• Plan and deliver tailored sessions in homes or community settings in Manchester.
• Support engagement and attainment through individualised learning plans.
