Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced tutor to support vulnerable, disengaged and at-risk pupils in Nottingham. You will create, plan and deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to bridge gaps in KS3/KS4 and boost engagement and attainment.

Work is community- or home-based, part-time on a temporary contract with ASAP start; DBS and references required. Creative, patient approaches welcomed to help each learner progress.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent or tutoring experience.
• UK classroom teaching experience preferred but not essential.
• Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box.
• Have experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils.

Responsibilities

• Create, plan and deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to bridge gaps in KS3/KS4.
• Bridge gaps in pupil education and boost engagement and attainment.
• Provide one-on-one or small-group support in community or home settings.
