Job summary

Athona is recruiting Registered Nurses to join the Oncology Day Unit at Chilworth Day Unit. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a specialist oncology service providing high-quality care to patients receiving cancer treatment.

Role specifics include location in Chilworth with ASAP start. Open full-time, part-time, or ad-hoc hours; rate of £30.00-£35.00 per hour (Umbrella). SACT training is preferred but not essential if you are competent in cannulation and IV therapy.

Qualifications

• Active NMC registration is required.
• Experience in oncology or acute nursing is preferred.
• SACT training is preferred but not essential.
• Competence in cannulation and IV therapy if SACT training is not held.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to patients receiving cancer treatment in the Oncology Day Unit.
• Work within the Oncology Day Unit team to deliverPatient care and safety.

Requirements

• Active NMC registration
• Previous oncology or acute nursing experience
• SACT (Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy) training (preferred but not essential)
• Nurses without SACT training will also be considered if they are competent in:
• Cannulation
• Intravenous (IV) therapy
