Job summary

Athona Ltd is seeking 2 Oncology Consultants to join an NHS Trust in South Yorkshire for a locum, full-time role. The positions are based in an acute setting with options for 3 or 5 days per week. Start ASAP for an initial 3-month period.

The successful candidates will independently manage either lower GI/breast oncology or Upper GI/HPB cases and must have GMC registration, UK experience, and the right to work in the UK. The role offers an hourly rate of £115–£125 and is inside IR35.

Qualifications

• GMC registration is required.
• UK clinical experience is required.
• Right to work in the UK is required.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage lower GI and breast oncology cases or Upper GI (UGI) and HPB cases.
• Provide consultant-level oncology expertise in an NHS Trust.
• Assist with patient care planning and multidisciplinary discussions.

Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for 2x Oncology Consultants to work with an NHS Trust in the South Yorkshire area. These full-time locum position is based in a acute setting, with proposed days being either 3 or 5 per week.

A full job plan for both opportunities will be available upon request. Both must be able to independently manage either lower GI and breast oncology cases or Upper GI (UGI) and HPB cases. Ideally want a Medical Oncologist but will entertain clinical.

The role is set to begin ASAP and will last for 3 months initially, offering an hourly rate of £115 – £125 per hour. Please note that this position is inside IR35.

To be eligible, you must have GMC, UK experience, and right to work in the UK.
