Job summary

Athona Nursing is currently recruiting experienced Band 6 Chemo Nurses to join the chemotherapy department at Southend Hospital.

Start Date: Immediate. Hours: Monday to Friday, with part-time or full-time options. Rate: £27.00 per hour gross (PAYE Inside IR35) plus Holiday pay. This specialist service supports patients undergoing cancer treatment.

Registered nurses with NMC registration and a current SACT Passport are essential to join this busy haematology/oncology setting.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration
• Current SACT Passport is essential
• Previous chemotherapy experience
• Experience within haematology and tumour/oncology services
• Available to work Monday–Friday
• Good communication and clinical skills

Responsibilities

• Provide chemotherapy nursing care in a specialist department
• Assist with patient care throughout chemotherapy treatment cycles
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to support patients
