Job summary

UK Fusion Energy (UKFE) Ltd in Nottinghamshire (West Burton site) seeks an Onboarding & Integration Partner to shape the early employee experience across UKFE and the STEP programme.

This is a pivotal role responsible for designing and delivering a seamless onboarding journey that ensures every new starter—whether a direct hire or joining through partner organisations—feels welcome, connected and set up for success from day one.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering onboarding and/or integration activities in complex, fast-moving or matrixed environments.
• Experience supporting onboarding for a mix of employees, secondees, contractors or partner‑organisation staff.
• Understanding of inclusive onboarding, early engagement and employee experience design.
• Strong coordination and organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work confidently across multiple stakeholders, influencing without formal authority.
• Proactive, adaptable and comfortable working with ambiguity and evolving requirements.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding & Integration Design: support development and improvement of onboarding aligned to People strategy and STEP model.
• End-to-End Onboarding Delivery: coordinate onboarding from pre-boarding through first 90 days and beyond.
• Integration Across STEP & Partners: facilitate integration for partner-based individuals and align messaging with partners.
• Content, Learning & Experience: develop onboarding materials and deliver engaging induction sessions.
• Measurement & Continuous Improvement: gather feedback and analyze onboarding data to drive improvements.
