Job summary

Keys is hiring an Onboarding Coordinator to support compliance administration for recruitment across our group. The role combines remote work with an office day at our Support Centre in Halesowen, four days from home and one in the office.

Responsibilities include processing DBS and right-to-work checks, offer letters, references, and onboarding sign-offs for a SEND-school-focused region. Immediate start with a 37.5-hour week and £27,000 salary depending on experience.

Qualifications

  • Experience in onboarding/compliance admin roles handling multiple candidates.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and process high data volumes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office packages.
  • Experience working in SEND school or care setting is a plus.
  • Experience supporting multi-site teams remotely.

Responsibilities

  • Process pre-employment checks (DBS, right to work, references) accurately and timely.
  • Analyse candidate employment history and note discrepancies for managers.
  • Input new starter information into internal HR portal with accuracy.
  • Support day-to-day admin within compliance and recruitment team.
  • Handle onboarding sign-off for new starters in a region, mainly SEND schools.
  • Build relationships with managers and candidates, offering onboarding guidance.
  • Ensure HR procedures are efficient and compliant.
  • Conduct audits and generate compliance reports.
  • Keep HR system data up-to-date and accurate.

Job Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for an experiencedOnboarding Coordinatorto join our team to support with compliance administration for recruitment across our Group.

This is an exciting time to join a highly enthusiastic team, committed to recruiting people throughout the business whose aim is to make a difference to the lives of the people we support.

This role will be a combination of both home and office working from our Support Centre in Halesowen. It is anticipated you will work 4 days from home and 1 day in the office.

Key responsibilities for an Onboarding Coordinator:
  • Ensure all pre-employment checks (DBS, right to work checks, offer letters/contracts and referencing checking) are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Analysing a candidate's full employment history and noting any discrepancies to service Managers.
  • Inputting and uploading new starter information onto internal HR portal, ensuring absolute accuracy at all times
  • Support with day to day and ad hoc administration duties within the compliance and internal recruitment team.
  • Responsible for the onboarding and compliance sign off for new starters in a given region. This will be mainly focused on our SEND schools.
  • Build strong working relationships with managers and candidates offering relevant advice and support throughout the onboarding process.
  • Ensure the company compliance procedures and processes are implemented in the most efficient and effective manner.
  • Conducting audits and reports on key compliance checks.
  • Ensuring the HR system is up-to-date and data input information accurately.
Person Specification:
  • Previous experience working in an onboarding/compliance administration role managing multiple candidates at any one time
  • Ability to work to deadline and process high volumes of data
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and have the ability to work as part of a team
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Experience of using Microsoft Office packages
  • Experience of working in a SEND school or care setting
  • Experience of working remotely supporting a multi-site business
