Job summary

Uber Boat by Thames Clippers invites applications for an Onboard Customer Service Assistant in London. This role involves providing a world-class customer experience, serving food and drinks, and ensuring compliance with brand standards and safety regulations across vessels.

You will work as part of the onboard team, maintaining high cleanliness standards, assisting in emergencies, and processing sales via EPOS while engaging with passengers throughout their journey.

Responsibilities

• Produce and deliver drinks/food in line with brand standards and recipes, and comply with food safety laws.
• Follow Bar and Till Training Procedures to ensure transactions are recorded accurately and minimise stock loss.
• Provide a world-class level of customer service and proactively offer information throughout the journey.
• Assist onboard team to maintain high standards of cleanliness across vessels during service.
• Assist Master/Mate/DCSA in emergencies and participate in monthly drills.
• Serve food and beverages following prescribed methods and answer product questions.
• Follow food hygiene/safety procedures in line with health and safety requirements.
• Ensure alcohol sales are completed responsibly in line with licensing requirements.
• Greet and engage with customers on board and explore their needs for food and drink.
• Process all sales through the EPOS system and ensure payment is recorded.
