JINGDONG Logistics (JD Logistics) is seeking an On The Road (OTR) Performance Manager in the UK to drive best-in-class performance across our Delivery Station network. You will enable operations teams with processes to meet efficiency targets while safeguarding service levels.

Based in Milton Keynes or Coventry, the role offers exposure to cutting-edge automation and data-driven improvements, with growth opportunities within the JD.com global business.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English, written and spoken.
• 2+ years of On The Road (OTR) performance experience.
• 4–5 years in last-mile operations or DSP-facing roles.

Responsibilities

• Build reporting and mechanisms to drive OTR performance across UK routes.
• Develop processes and decision trees for daily critical decisions that protect customer promise.
• Collaborate with capacity planning to maximize on-road time and efficiency.
• Work with Delivery Service Partner (DSP) management on performance issues.
• Coordinate with Process Excellence to align Stations SOPs with performance goals.
• Oversee DILO reporting and identify defects across First Mile to Last Mile.
• Coordinate with Training teams to develop learning content for Station Teams.
• Create daily/weekly/monthly performance review frameworks.

UK On the Road Performance Manager

Hours – 40 per week

Shifts pattern: Mon-Fri

We are seeking an experienced On The Road (OTR) Performance Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving best in class performance on the road Performance across our UK Delivery Station network. Ensuring that our Operations teams are equipped with processes and mechanisms to drive optimal performance without impacting efficiency targets.

Responsibilities

• Building mechanisms and reporting that drive On The Road Performance and create visibility and trends for leadership to review and operations teams to act.
• Development of processes and decision trees that support critical decisions throughout the day that protect customer promise but maintain efficiency.
• Collaborating with capacity planning to optimise efficiency through management of operational timelines to maximise on road time for delivery.
• Working closely with Delivery Service Partner (DSP) management on specific DSP performance concerns, ensuring concerns are addressed through a defined process.
• Working with Process Excellence to ensure all Stations SOPs are built to incorporate optimal performance management.
• Management and reporting of Operational DILO and identification of defects between First Mile, Middle Mile and Last Mile.
• Co-ordination with the Training Team to develop learning content that supports Station Teams in driving optimal performance.
• Building reporting and review frameworks for daily, weekly and monthly business reviews performance trends and improvements.

Requirements

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Comprehensive understanding of On The Road Performance with a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in this field.
• 4-5 years’ experience working within the last mile environment within operational or DSP facing roles.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Stakeholder Management in a matrix level organisation.
• Experience in building and deploying projects and programs.
