Job summary

JINGDONG Logistics UK seeks an On The Road (OTR) Performance Manager to drive best-in-class on-road performance across the UK delivery network. You will develop reporting, standard operating procedures, and decision frameworks to protect customer promise while sustaining efficiency.

This role requires strong leadership and collaboration with DSPs, capacity planning, and process excellence. The ideal candidate brings 2+ years in on-the-road performance or related fields and 4-5 years in last-mile

Qualifications

• Fluency in English, written and spoken.
• Minimum 2 years in On The Road Performance or similar.
• 4-5 years in last mile operations roles (DSP or operational).

Responsibilities

• Build reporting that drives On The Road Performance and provides leadership with trends.
• Develop decision trees for daily critical decisions to protect customer promise while maintaining efficiency.
• Collaborate with capacity planning to optimize delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with DSP management to address performance concerns.
• Work with Process Excellence to align SOPs with performance goals.
• Manage and report DILO and identify defects across First/ Middle/ Last Mile.
• Coordinate with Training to develop learning content for stations.
• Create reporting for daily/weekly/monthly reviews and action plans.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving best in class performance on the road Performance to this across our UK Delivery Station network. Ensuring that our Operations teams are equipped with processes and mechanisms to drive optimal performance without impacting efficiency targets.**Responsibilities**:* Building mechanisms and reporting that drive On The Road Performance and create visibility and trends for leadership to review and operations teams to act.* Development of processes and decision trees that support critical decisions throughout the day that protect customer promise but maintain efficiency.* Collaborating with capacity planning to optimise efficiency through management of operational timelines to maximise on road time for delivery.* Working closely with Delivery Service Partner (DSP) management on specific DSP performance concerns, ensuring concerns are addressed through a defined process* Working with Process Excellence to ensure all Stations SOP’s are built to incorporate optimal performance management.* Management and reporting of Operational DILO and identification of defects between First Mile, Middle Mile and Last Mile.* Co-ordination with the Training Team to develop learning content that support Station Teams in driving optimal performance.* Building reporting and review frameworks for daily, weekly and monthly business reviews performance trends and improvements**Key Metrics**:* First Time Delivery Success +98%* On Time Despatch +97%* Parcels Per Route – (Efficiency Targets)**Requirements**:* Fluency in English, both written and spoken.* Comprehensive understanding of On The Road Performance with a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in this field.* 4-5 years’ experience working within the last mile environment within operational or DSP facing roles.* Strong leadership and communication skills.* Stakeholder Management in a matrix level organisation.* Experience in building and deploying projects and programs.*At JINGDONG Logistics, we’re committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.
