Job summary

Octane Recruitment is recruiting a Mobile Vehicle Technician to service and repair vehicles at customer locations in Chester, including EVs, using diagnostic tools and following safety procedures.

Typical hours are 8:30am–5pm, Monday to Friday with 1 in 4 Saturdays. Salary starts at £40,170 basic plus up to £6,000 bonus, £28.96 per hour and a company van. OTE up to £52,000 with optional overtime and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 2 in light vehicle maintenance and repair (City & Guilds, IMI, NVQ or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years post-qualification hands-on experience with vehicles.
• Full UK driving licence - max 6 points, no bans.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and repairing vehicles at customer locations (driveways, car parks, etc.).
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations and brake inspections.
