Job summary

FBC UK in Edinburgh is seeking an organised Training Coordinator to plan, coordinate and track training for our weekly paid employees across the bakery, ensuring safety and performance standards are met.

You will oversee onboarding, induction, competency sign-off, maintain training records, monitor compliance, and support development plans while coordinating with managers and operations in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced FMCG or manufacturing environments.
• Experience in labour planning, scheduling, or resource management.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
• Strong planning and organisational skills with competing priorities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word; capable of producing reports.
• People-focused approach with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Attention to detail with training records and audits.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills for training sessions.
• Adaptable, with ability to manage change and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Review labour demand plans to identify training needs.
• Maintain and update training plans and competency matrices.
• Conduct regular check-ins with trainees and monitor progress.
• Create and improve training checklists and sign-off docs.
• Deliver compliance and mandatory training.
• Manage SOP reviews and updates.
• Coordinate training for new starters and onboarding timelines.
• Maintain and file training records for audits.
• Prepare and present training updates to managers.
• Act as training representative during audits.
