Job summary

BMD Group's Empower Advisory UK is seeking a proactive, site-based Temporary Works Coordinator for the HPC project in Somerset. You will manage the lifecycle of temporary structures, enforce safety, and ensure design alignment with delivery teams on a highly regulated nuclear site.

You will lead design verification, RAMS reviews, and approvals across CAT 0-3, maintain permits, inspect materials, and coordinate with TWD, TWS, and delivery teams to keep work on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Extensive prior experience as a TWC on Tier-1 major infrastructure or heavy civil engineering projects.
• Valid CITB Temporary Works Coordinator qualification and a relevant engineering qualification.
• Deep understanding of BS 5975 and CDM 2015 regulations.

Responsibilities

• Planning & Design Coordination: prepare briefs, verify designs, coordinate with interface teams.
• Risk & Safety Management: RAMS reviews, stop-work authority, compliance checks.
• On-Site Operations & Supervision: material inspection, hold points, design implementation.
• Change Control & Quality Assurance: manage deviations, sign-off modifications.
• Compliance & Administration: maintain logs, permits, and ensure procedures are followed.
